Overview
UQDZ Studio ("we", "our", "us") operates DocMind. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

What We Collect
We may collect the following types of data:
- Account email and display name (Firebase Authentication)
- Daily usage counters (documents processed, questions asked)
- Conversation history (questions and AI responses)
- App settings including encrypted API key (stored locally, not readable by us)
- Payment confirmation — transaction ID and payer email (via PayPal)
Analytics
DocMind does not use analytics or usage tracking.
Advertising
DocMind does not display advertising.
AI Features
DocMind uses AI-powered features. User-provided content (such as text input) may be sent to AI service providers for processing. We do not store AI inputs beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
Third-Party Services
DocMind may integrate with the following third-party services:
- Firebase / Google (Authentication & Firestore cloud storage, region: asia-southeast1)
- Google Gemini AI (AI query processing)
- Anthropic Claude (optional AI provider)
- OpenAI (optional AI provider)
- PayPal (Pro plan payment processing)
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing their policies to understand how they handle your data.
Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@uqdz.com.
Children
DocMind is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
