Privacy Policy — Goalbar

1. Overview

Goalbar ("the App") is a free football app for Windows operated by UQDZ Lab ("we", "our", "us"). This policy explains what information the App uses, where it comes from, and the choices you have.

2. No Account, No Personal Data

Goalbar has no sign-in and does not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other personal information. It shows no advertising and contains no analytics or tracking tools.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data only on your device:

• Settings: language, theme, followed teams, and notification choices
• A copy of recently loaded football data, so the App opens quickly and works offline

This data is not sent to us. Uninstalling the App removes it.

4. Data Sent Over the Internet

To show football data, the App sends requests over HTTPS to the Goalbar service, which is hosted on Cloudflare. A request contains only what is needed to answer it, such as a competition code, a match or team number, or the language for an AI summary. The Goalbar service does not store your IP address or build any profile of you.

Cloudflare may process technical connection data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service, as described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

5. Notifications

Match notifications (kick-off, score changes, full time) are shown through the standard Windows notification system for the teams you follow. You can turn them off in the App or in Windows Settings.

6. AI Match Summaries

Match recaps and the daily round-up are generated by AI from match data on the Goalbar service and are labeled as AI-generated. No personal data is sent to the AI model.

7. Third-Party Content

Football data comes from football-data.org. News headlines come from publisher RSS feeds, and highlights are links to official YouTube channels. Opening an article or a video takes you to that website in your browser, and its own privacy policy applies.

8. Advertising, Tracking, and Purchases

• Goalbar shows no advertising
• Goalbar contains no odds or betting content
• Goalbar contains no analytics or tracking tools
• Goalbar is free and has no in-app purchases

9. Children

Goalbar does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

10. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions, contact privacy@uqdz.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page.
